Our apprenticeship starts on 01.08.2025 and lasts 3 years.
What you can expect:
- With us, you will learn all the commercial basics in various departments such as human resources, production planning, marketing, sales, sourcing, finance and accounting
- You work actively and take on smaller projects in the areas of application
What you bring with you:
- You graduated from school with a good secondary school certificate, advanced technical college certificate or better
- You have a keen interest in economic contexts
- You enjoy learning and have a high level of comprehension
- A high level of communication skills, teamwork and an affinity for numbers round off your profile

The Product Management & Design department is at the heart of product range development. We combine market analysis with creative design to create collections that embody the ara DNA and meet the needs of our customers. We work closely with sales, marketing and production to develop innovative, high-quality and comfortable shoes and bags. From the initial idea to the finished product, we accompany the entire development process

The HR department is the point of contact for all employee-related issues. This includes the recruitment of new talent, the administration of employment contracts, payroll accounting and benefits. The HR department is also responsible for personnel development and training.

Customer Service is the central point of contact for customer inquiries and plays a key role in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Its main tasks include processing inquiries, order processing and advising on products (shoes and bags) and their delivery. Customer Service also supports the sales force, processes orders and contributes to the positive perception of the company through professional and friendly service. -

The Key Accounts department is responsible for maintaining and developing long-term, strategic relationships with the company's most important customers. Its focus is on supporting key customers, identifying customer needs, developing customized solutions and increasing sales through close cooperation and continuous communication.

Our logistics team at ara is at the heart of our global logistics activities.
We plan and implement supply chain strategies, manage logistics service providers and take care of customs matters.
Together with the production plants and dispatch warehouses, we coordinate logistics projects and support other departments to ensure that our customers receive their deliveries on time.
We monitor and optimize deliveries, inventories and transport costs and analyze key figures to continuously improve supply chain processes. -

The overarching aim of purchasing is to ensure the company's supply. In addition to ensuring security of supply, it is also important to purchase products at the best possible conditions and in the right quantities.
The department aims to make the entire purchasing and production process efficient and reliable. -

The marketing department stands for brand and content strategies, trade marketing, PR and always-on communication. We work very closely with product management and sales, generating ideas and creating concepts to support sales.

In our accounting department, everything revolves around numbers. The team takes care of accounting processes, payment transactions, document handling and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

The Controlling and Business Intelligence departments work closely together to steer the company through well-founded, data-based decisions. While Controlling focuses on reports, budget planning and cost analysis, BI provides deeper insights through the collection, analysis and visualization of data. Both departments help to support the company's financial stability and strategic planning, relying on modern technology and continuous development to stay up to date.

In model development technology, new ideas are designed on the 3D CAD system and printed out as viewing samples using our 3D printers.
Another area of work is the photography and image creation of shoes, for image processing to create new variants for a future new collection. In this work step, the shoes are retouched with new colors and materials to give them a fresh look.
The third focus in our department is on checking the series production of new shoes that will soon be going into mass production. -
